Crisp County High School FCCLA had a great experience competing at Regional 7 STAR Events at Georgia Southwestern University in Americus. Students competing were: Ana Gomez - Job Interview, Adrianne Hand - Interior Design, Ariel Smith - Focus on Children, Briseyda Nunez and Winter Wellons - Event Management, and Ella Moore, Holly Norwood and Josh Lawson - Food Innovations. We look forward to Region 7 announcing those advancing to state competition next week!

***Baseball Update***
With the forecast on Monday and the shortage of umpires available, Monday's Season Opener vs Fitzgerald is moved to Tuesday. We will play a JV/Varsity Double header at home beginning with the young guys at 4:30. Varsity will play 25 minutes after.
This will take the place of the JV DH at Fitzgerald planned on that day as well. Hope to see you all at the ballpark!!!!

South Georgia Technical College will be hosting Light Up Your Future event on their campus. It will be on December 5 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Potential students who are interested can learn about the campus' programs through lighted displays. There will be plenty of gifts and goodies for the entire family!

Please be aware that the FAFSA for next year is not available yet. It will be available in December. The current FAFSA application available for 2023-2024 on the FAFSA.GOV website will expire at the end of the summer of 2024.

We will have a FAFSA/Financial Aid presentation for seniors during Wednesday's advisement on November 29th in the cafeteria. Katie Minich from the Georgia Student Finance Commission will be sharing valuable information about how to pay for college.
Seniors, please do not miss this important meeting!
In the meantime, remember that November is Apply to College Month. Please use your time during advisement to complete your college applications. Many colleges are waiving fees during the month of November.
